Naomi Nikola’s Everyday Make Up Tutorial
Hey dolls!
Today I’ll be sharing you guys some secrets – some of my favourite makeup products to use everyday. I use these products for a simple, natural everyday look. Enjoy! ✨
Once I’m done cleansing and prepping my face, I apply sunblock. If you’d like to see my beauty care routine, click here. The Sunblock I’ve been using for quite some time now is Biore’s UV Aqua Rich with spf50+.
*Too Faced’s Hangover Primer: I apply primer after sunblock during the times I’m going to use BB Cream or foundation. But! If I just use a CC cream, I leave this step out.
For moisturising my lips, I’m using the Mermazing Mermaid Lip Balms sponsored by AlwaysFits 💞
After applying sunblock, I put dots of Sugao’s CC Cream in Pink Bright/Smooth all around my face. I then blend everything together with my trusty beauty blender. The one I’m using here is The Original Beauty Blender in Limited Baby Pink!
I use Benefit’s Fake Up Concealer 01 for my under eyes as I found this to be also quite moisturising and not cakey at all. I use my ring finger for this as it’s the most careful one!
When a red spot would spawn on my face, I’d lightly tap some Hello Kitty’s Magic Concealer on the blemish with my ring finger.
After I’m good, I set everything with StyleNanda’s 3CE Setting Loose Powder. I really like this powder as it doesn’t leave my face too matte, since I like having a dewy finish!
I then put a bit of ash brown eyebrow mascara. I think any brand is fine! I then line my brows with this one from Excel, but if I could go back in LA again I’d pick myself up some Ash Brown Brow Definer by Anastasia. I’ve already finished it so 😿
I also lightly shade my brows with KATE Tokyo’s Designing eyebrow N. I mix the darkest+medium together and lightly brush my brows with them.
Sometimes I do a bit of contouring on the side of my face, under my cheekbones and the side of my nose. When I do, I use a bit Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer (yes LOL)
I never fail to use Benefit’s High Beam though, this is probably my favourite make up product ever. I dot some on the top of my cheekbones, eyebrow bones, a bit on the tip of my nose, top of my brows and cupid’s bow.
My favourite blush would probably be Benefit’s Lolli Tint & Too Faced’s Love Flush in Baby Love.
I always love doing Japan’s Hangover Makeup look on my cheeks so I’ve really integrated it on my everyday look.
Bonus:
I don’t normally put eyeshadow and eyeliner but in a few cases I do, here are my favourite picks!
I love doing a rosy glow on my eyes so I use Urban Decay’s Naked 3 for this. I blend in Nooner and Limit for the creases of my eyes and blend in a little of Limit at the outer corners of my eyes. While I put in Dust for the inner corners.
I top it off by winging some dark brown/black eyeliner. I only start from the middle part of my eyelids to winging outwards! I find that my eye shape is too round for me to fill in everything 💦 This is a trick I found that worked best for me and I’ve stuck with it ever since!
Maybe I’ll do a YT tutorial on this someday 💭 But for now I leave you with these tips!
