Queue the school bell!

The term is starting for me once again. And frankly, I am not prepared one bit! I have been such a lazy girl lately and the thought of school just makes me want to crawl back under my sheets. Although! I remember one of the things that really prep me up for classes, and that’s using my favourite stationeries I collect!

I find myself more motivated whenever I use or wear something that I like; perhaps something more pink, something more cute! You know?

So here I am, once again showing my love for all things cute that it hurts: Another school essentials blog entry(=`ω´=)

Cardcaptor Sakura Cafe in Ikebukuro

9:13 pm 08月15日

So I got the chance to visit this wonderful childhood favourite – themed cafe in the heart of Ikebukuro.  Any Cardcaptor fans out here ( ´∀`)?

When I heard that Animate Cafe was gonna have a pop-up cafe of this beloved anime, I got my friend (who’s also named Sakura! 笑) to book with me right away 💖

Today’s Lunch ✧

8:20 pm 02月3日

little twin stars bento

My old Hello Kitty bento box I had back in High School finally gave up on me💦 It was a real downer because I had that cute thing throughout my whole high school life. Ah, oh well.

Amidst my blues for the loss of my lunch set (r.i.p. lmao), I was checking out a Sanrio shop nearby my place and.. this cute Little Twin Stars set just caught the twinkle of my eye. I just had to get it(#/。\#) These two are actually my all-time favourite from Sanrio so it was perfect. I just adore everything about them– the dreamy colours they represent, the theme, to Kiki & Lala themselves!

Yes~ almost all of my crap has to be really cute. I’m a sucker for aesthetically adorable things — Sanrio or not. In High School, I was sometimes called the “Hello Kitty Girl” for all my stuff. Apparently my Sanrio school supplies, pastel accessories to my HK bento boxes seemed a little “out of this world” for them(▰˘◡˘▰) Insult or not, I embraced it. There’s so much more to it than this, if only they knew.

Even till now, a college student and I haven’t changed one bit. There’s just something super magical about these whimsical trinkets, you know?

Tada~ ☆ My first lunch from this cute box. Mixed simple things together because I was rushing to get to school again lmao.

Sliced Fuji Apples & simple Onigiri tuna rolls. Yum!

A talk on Kawaii Culture

8:49 pm 01月24日

On this entry, I’ll be blogging about two special events that occurred last November (I know, i know, it’s a bit late too!) ~ I’ll also be sharing an overview of what I talked about on those days.

I was invited to be a guest speaker of these two talks hosted by two cool universities in the Philippines. In both events, I talked about my take on the Kawaii Culture. I was also encouraged to share my views, experiences, tips & insights about them, my own Kawaii lifestyle, fashion aesthetics and more(*´∀`*) This will be a heavy post so brace yourselves!
